The Football season comes to an end!

Nothing like an Arizona sunset.

Birthday...Arizona style!

So my little girl turned 10 today. We had 9 girls for a birthday
sleepover on Friday night. Yes, me and Stock got the heck out for a
while. We were all a bit tired of cake and ice cream tonight so Tatum
wanted a candle in an orange to blow out.

It is about 72 and it is Nov 30.

Later on Saturday.....

About 2 hours after the games today the kids went to Bounce-U for a
birthday party. Tatum had a crash and broke 3 bones in her foot.
Looks like she gets to be the cheerleader for her team.

Sports Saturday!

This is week two of sports for the kids. Tatum is playing soccer and
is better than most of the boys. Stock is playing flag football and
thinks he is Big Ben (if you don't know who that is see the Pittsburgh
Steelers #7). Unfortunatly their games the first two weeks were at the
exact same time. So I went to football last week and soccer this week!

Dad's Get To Have Fun Too!

For "work" at the Firm on Wednesday night we got to go see the Suns
first pre-season game. The best part, our tickets were in a suite at
mid-court.

Our New Hobby.

We decided to try out the GPS capabilities of the iPhone and go
geocaching. It was a blast! I think now that it is cooling off we
will go out for a few hours each weekend and see what we can find.

Take Dad to school day part 2

We played math jepardy first in Stocks class and then we did some
science. We had 10 different rocks we had to decide how to classify
just like a scientist would.

Take Dad to school day.

So I get to spend the first half of the day with the kids. Right now
Tatum and I are working on Social Studies. She is learning about the
different Native American tribes that lives in Arizona.

Gooooooo Scouts!!

It was Pack Meeting tonight and Stock earned a bunch of things. He is
really getting the hang of Scouts and starting to really enjoy it!

Ice cream rules!

We went for a walk tonight and ended up at Water and Ice. Seemed like
a good night to stop and get a little ice cream. Stock = rainbow
sherbert, Tatum = black cherry and cotton candy, she is eating it not
me!

Back to Reality

We are back from our vacation to Disneyland and I cant tell you how great of a time we had. It was all we could do to get the kids out of the ocean. I think Stock wants to be a surfer, he was in heaven riding the waves on his boogie board. We spent two days at Disney and I will let the pictures tell you more than I ever could.

Aaaaaaarrrrrgh!

We succeeded in getting Stock on Pirates, he said he loved it but
doesn't think he wants to go on it again!

The happiest place on earth!

Tatum and Stock are just in awe at how big Disney is. So far we are
doing really well riding things, although Star Tours was a bit much.
For Disney it is not busy at all. We are in line for Pirates and the
wait is only 20 minutes. Good stuff!

The end of the day.

We had a great day! Spent the entire day on the beach. Tatum and
Stock are real pros with a boogie board. I was surprised at how
fearless they were in the ocean, it was all we could do to get them
out of it. Late in the afternoon the rip current got so bad the
lifeguards made everyone get out of the water.

Keeping Watch.

Stock thought the lifeguards were just awesome. After they closed for
the day he decided he would take over.

"I'm not touching that!"

Stock playing in the tide pools at La Jolla. The kids got to see the
seals in La Jolla bay. We tried to get Stock to touch the anemones
but that was not happening!

Aaaaaahhh the promised land!

We are here!

For the next 5 days we are going to be in San Diego/Anaheim. Here is
the view from the beach house we are staying at. Stay tuned, we will

Homework

Kids are back in school, that means so are Mom and Dad :)

Clouds and Palms

We have had two days of "unusual weather" for Arizona in August. Rain
and 72 after work yesterday. As you can see it looks like more of the
same today.

Let's get this thing going!

I am going to blog exclusivly with my new toy! We shall see how it
